Lenovo A6000, one of the best Dual SIM 4G smartphones within Rs 7,000 is going to be available on 28th January (First Flash Sales). Companies are trying to attract consumers by launching low budget 4G smartphones and Lenovo is trying to do the same. Xiaomi has announced Redmi 2S, but it is still now not available in India. This is the reason that many people think that Lenovo A6000 is one of the competitors to Redmi 1S which is selling very well at Flipkart. Now I’ll do the comparison of Lenovo A6000 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S. I already compared Lenovo A6000 with Micromax Yu Yureka and Asus Zenfone 5.

When it comes to price you may get attracted to Redmi 1S as it is available at price which is Rs 1,000 lesser than price of Lenovo A6000.

Display and Operating System

Lenovo A6000 is provided with display screen of 5 inch, while the screen size of Redmi 1S is of 4.7 inch. I don’t think that the difference of 0.3 inch will matter more. What may matter more for some people is that the dispolay screen of Redmi 1S comes with Gorilla Glass protection, while no type of glass protection is provided to the display screen of Lenovo A6000.

Lenovo A6000 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system and is provided with Vibe UI 2.0 on the top. Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes with Android 4.3 OS having MIUI 5.0 on the top. People who have bought Redmi 1S are not happy that Xiaomi has still now not provided the OS update, but we expect Xiaomi to soon provided the OS update to its low budget smartphone Redmi 1s.

Processor, RAM and Storage

The latest Dual SIM 4G smartphone of Lenovo is provided with 1.2GHz 64 Bit Quad Core Snapdragon 410 processor. There is not much difference between the processor of both the smartphones as Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes with 1.6GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 400 processor. Both smartphones come with 1GB RAM.

When it comes to storage you can go with any one of the 2 smartphones. Both smartphones come with internal memory of 8GB and you can get external storage up to 64GB which is with the use of microSD card.

Camera Features

Both smartphones come with rear facing camera of 8 megapixel provided with LED flash. Front facing camera provided in Lenovo A6000 is a 2 megapixel camera, while Redmi 1S comes with front facing camera of 1.6 megapixel.

Connectivity and Battery

If you need 4G connectivity, then you may definitely like to go for Lenovo A6000 as it comes with 4G connectivity which is missing in Redmi 1S. The other connectivity features are almost the similar.

Lenovo has provided little better battery than what you’ll find in Xiaomi Redmi 1S. Lenovo A6000 comes with 2300 mAh battery, while Redmi 1S comes with 2000 mAh battery.

If you have made the decision that you’ll buy Lenovo A6000 online on 28th January, then you need to register for it immediately. Only those who’ll register for Lenovo A6000 will be able to buy it at the first flash sales.

Register for Lenovo A6000 (Price Rs 6,000)

I did this comparison because Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Lenovo A6000 are very strong competitors of each other. It will be really interesting to see that whether people will choose to go for the latest 4G smartphone of Lenovo or will decide to go with one of the best selling smartphones of Xiaomi. Lenovo A6000 is definitely going to gain popularity as one of the best Dual SIM 4G smartphones within Rs 7,000, and that’s why I expect other companies to launch smartphones with the same type of specs at the same type of price. Was this comparison useful? Will you buy Lenovo A6000 or Xiaomi Redmi 1S? Stay tuned as I may soon do the complete review of Lenovo A6000.
