Finally, the wait for RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning edition is over in India.

RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition Specs and Features

As per the specs and features, I find RedmiBook Pro as one of the best laptops with i5 processor when it comes to new laptops under Rs 50,000.

If you’re looking for the latest i3 laptop with the best specs in your budget of Rs 40,000, then your search may end with the e-Learning edition.

Good news for the buyers is that they can avail discount up to Rs 3,500 by purchasing the Redmi Book Pro 15 using a HDFC Bank card. The discount is only up to Rs 2500 for the e-Learning edition. Do let me know your opinion about this discount offer from Redmi.

The display screen is a 15.6-inch Full HD display. You’ll find that there is a 720p HD webcam provided by Redmi.

RedmiBook Pro is one of the latest laptop with best features in Rs 50,000 budget as it is powered by the 11th-Gen Intel Core i5-1300H processor Tiger Lake H35 CPU. One of the pros is that the maximum clock speed is up to 4.4GHz.

I find storage to be very impressive. The 8GB DDR4 RAM is clocked at 3200 MHz and it comes with 512GB NVMe SSD.

The combination of i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD makes it one of the most attractive laptops launched under Rs 50,000. Finding a latest laptop with such features may be difficult, especially considering the price to be under Rs 50,000.

The track pad comes with multi-touch and gesture support feature.

There is availability of good number of connectivity ports on the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning edition. It includes 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, Lan port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, SD card reader and a 3.55mm headphone jack port.

RedmiBook is also good for multi-media purpose as there are two 2W speakers having support for the DTA Audio processing app.

For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 with the Redmi laptops.

RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition Difference

Another feature that has impressed me the most is the large intake vent provided for the purpose of cooling. One of my laptops from another brand stopped working suddenly due to motherboard issue, and I hope that this large vent will be useful in controlling the heating and it will make the laptop last longer.

The main difference between RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is the processor. RedmiBook Pro comes with i5 11th generation processor, whereas RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with i3 11th generation processor having maximum clock speed of 4.1GHz. If you’ll do the comparison, then you’ll find that another difference is that RedmiBook Pro comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics, whereas RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with UHD graphics.

When it comes to RedmiBook e-Learning edition, the price for 8GB RAM+256GB SSD variant is Rs 41,999, whereas the price for 8GB RAM+512GB SSD variant is Rs 44,999.

Battery Life of 10 Hours with RedmiBook

One of the pros of the new RedmiBooks is the battery life. Redmi has claimed that one will be able to get battery life of up to 10 hours with the new RedmiBooks. It will be interesting to see if the battery performance will be similar on both the RedmiBooks.

Good battery life could be one of the reasons to purchase RedmiBook Pro as it combines powerful processor along with a powerful battery.

Both the RedmiBook laptops run on Windows 10 Home OS and have the support for Windows 11 update in the future.

RedmiBook is a complete laptop as Redmi has also pre-installed MS Office Home and Student 2019 for making the work for professionals easier.

Both RedmiBook Pro and the e-Learning Edition come in Charcoal Grey color.
