Motorola brought a tremendous change in the Indian market by launching Moto E smartphone in the previous year. Moto E, a low budget smartphone got lot of success and it made other companies too launch low budget Android smartphones for attracting customers in India. First Gen Moto E
Moto E (2nd Gen) Launched in 2 Variants
The first Gen Moto E has 1 variant only which is now priced at Rs 5,999, but Moto E (2nd Gen) has got launched in 2 different variants. The 3G variant of Moto E (2nd Gen) is priced at Rs 6,999 only, while the 4G variant is priced Rs 8,999. People who need faster connectivity may definitely like to go for the 4G variant.
Still now 4G variant is not available online and I’m expecting that it will also soon get available online.
Little Larger Display Screen
Older Moto E had got 4.3 inch display screen having resolution of 960 x 540 pixels only. The 2nd Gen Moto E is provided with 4.5 inch qHD display screen having resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.
Latest Android Version
Moto E (1st Gen) smartphone comes with Android 4.4 operating system. For making its fans happy, Motorola has provided Android 5.0 Lollipop version in the new generation Moto E smartphone.
Powerful Processor and More Internal Memory
The 1st Gen Moto E was provided with 1.2GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, while the 2nd Gen Moto E is provided with 1.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 processor. Similar to the 1st Gen Moto E, 2nd Gen Moto E has also got 1GB RAM only. Moto E 2nd Gen comes with internal memory of 8GB, while the first Gen Moto E was provided with internal memory of 4GB only.
Front Facing Camera Provided in Moto E (2nd Gen)
Both the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen Moto E come with rear facing camera of 5 megapixel. I didn’t like the thing that Motorola has not provided LED flash to the rear facing camera of Moto E (2nd Gen) smartphone. One of the noticeable difference is that the 2nd Gen Moto E is provided with VGA camera in the front. There was no front facing camera provided in the first Gen Moto E smartphone.
2nd Gen Moto E
