Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) which comes at price of Rs 12,999 is going to get good competition from Micromax Yu Yureka smartphone which has launched at Rs 8,999 only. Moto G (2nd Gen) even if priced above Rs 10,000 has been purchased by many as it is one of the best mid budget Android smartphone. Micromax Yu Yureka has started getting popular and that’s why people are definitely going to compare Yu Yureka with other popular Android smartphones. Me and my friends were expecting the price of Yu Yureka to be around Rs 15,000, but when it got launched at price below Rs 10,000, it was a big surprise for everyone. Now I’ll do the comparison of Micromax Yu Yureka and Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) smartphone.

Micromax Yu Yureka works on Cyanogen 11 OS which is based on Android 4.4 operating system. Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) works on Android 4.4 operating system.

Moto G (2nd Gen) comes with 1.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, while Micromax Yu Yureka is provided with 1.6 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. So when it comes to processor, I believe that Micromax Yu Yureka beats Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen).

Another noticeable difference is that Micromax Yu Yureka comes with 2GB RAM, while Moto G (2nd Gen) comes with 1GB RAM. Both the smartphones come with internal memory of 16GB and you can get external memory up to 32GB.

Camera Features Comparison

In comparison to the 8 megapixel camera available in Moto G (2nd Gen), Micromax Yu Yureka comes with 13 megapixel camera. The rear facing camera of Yu Yureka comes with SONY EXMOR sensor.

Front camera provided in Moto G (2nd Gen) is a 2 megapixel camera, while front camera provided in Micromax Yu Yureka is a 5 megapixel camera.

  1. I may still prefer Moto G 2nd Gen over Micromax Yu Yureka. The reason for it is that Yu Yureka is new smartphone, while Moto G 2nd Gen has already received huge success. People who have bought the second Gen Moto G are happy with it. Anyways a good comparison.
