Finally there is a competitor available to give competition to Motorola Moto E. Micromax by launching Unite 2 smartphone has definitely decided to give some type of competition to Motorola’s Moto E which has become one of the most attractive low budget Android smartphone these days. With good features and the same price Micromax’s Unite 2 may also attract many people. Many people have wanted to buy Moto E which increased it demand, and now it will be exciting to see whether Unite 2 will also get same type of success or not. Check out everything about Micromax Unite 2.
The exciting thing is that Micromax’s Unite 2 price is also Rs 6,999, and that’s why this shows that there is no difference between the price of Motorola Moto E and Micromax Unite 2. Let us check out the features of Micromax Unite 2. I will also compare the features of this Micromax smartphone with features of Moto E.
Both the smartphones work on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system.
Display Screen of Micromax Unite 2
Micromax Unite 2 has display screen of 4.7 inch having resolution 800 x 480 pixels. Pixel density is only 199 ppi.
Comparison of display screen of Unite 2 with Motorola Moto E can be definitely seen. Motorola Moto E has 4.3 inch screen having resolution 960 x 540 pixels. Pixel density of Moto E’s touchscreen is 256 ppi which is better in comparison to Micromax’ Unite 2 display screen.
If you want larger screen size go for Micromax Unite 2, but if you want to have better quality screen then go for Motorola Moto E. Most of my friends that Motorola’s low budget smartphone is getting success because they offer good quality.
Different Processor from Moto E
Micromax Unite 2 has got 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor while Moto E comes with 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor. Seeing Quad Core processor in Unite 2 may make you think that Unite 2 has a better processor, but remember that Unite 2 has a MediaTek processor while the processor provided in Moto E is a Snapdragon processor. I can’t say clearly that which processor will perform better, as only those who use both the smartphones will be able to say about it.
Micromax Unite 2 comes with a rear facing camera of 5 megapixel and it has also got LED flash. It has also got a front facing camera of 2 megapixel.
In Comparison to Motorola Moto E, Micromax Unite 2 has better camera features. Moto E has no front camera and the rear facing camera doesn’t have LED flash.
I find the camera features of Micromax Unite 2 better than Moto E’s Camera Features. I will soon ask my friends who will purchase Unite 2 to tell me about the quality of the rear facing and front camera of Unite 2.
There is not much difference about the type of battery used for both the smartphones, but it will be interesting to see that whether Unite 2 will also give the same type of battery life like Moto E. Other features are very much similar. Both are Dual SIM smartphone with 4GB internal memory slot having external memory card slot.
Update : Micromax Unite 2 A106 is now available online. You may definitely decide to go for this smartphone if you have been unable to purchase Moto E because of the limited stocks. I hope that the stock of Grey Color Unite 2 will stay available for long time without going out of stock. You can buy Micromax Unite 2 online from Flipkart using the below provided links
At the same price of Rs 6,999 Micromax Unite 2 is definitely one of the best competitors to Moto E. When I checked, Grey color version of Unite 2 was available but the Pristine White color version of Unite 2 had already went out of stock.
