Lava has finally launched its competitor to Motorola’s Moto E and Micromax’s Unite 2 and it is named as Iris X1. This smartphone has features which you may not find in many other low budget smartphones. Lava Iris X1’s most special feature is that even if it comes within the price of Rs 8,000 it has got 8 megapixel camera. As finding a smartphone with such a good camera in this budget of Rs 8,000 may be very hard, many people may that’s why like to buy Lava Iris X1 which is now available online.

Lava Iris X1 works on Android 4.4.2 operating system. Good thing is that Iris X1 is available in both white and Black colors. Now check out the features and my review on this smartphone.

Lava Iris X1 Best Android Smartphone in Rs 8,000

The display screen is of 4.5 inch and it has resolution which is 854 x 480 pixels. The processor used in this smartphone by Lava is a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Broadcom processor. I would have rated this smartphone very highly if it had a Snapdragon processor. I don’t know that whether this processor will be able to make Iris X1 work faster than the other smartphones which come with MediaTek or Snapdragon processor. Lava Iris X1 has got 1GB RAM.

The most amazing thing is definitely the 8 megapixel rear facing camera. Lava has already provided LED flash with its 8 megapixel camera. The front facing camera is a 2 megapixel one.

Internal memory is only 4GB but there is an external memory slot too available with Iris X1. Using the external memory slot you can get 32GB external memory.

Lava Iris X1 is a Dual SIM smartphone and it comes with 1800 mAh battery. Most of my friends who have bought Moto E have said to me that Moto E works for a day and they don’t need to charge it twice a day, and that’s why I think that Lava Iris X1 will be able to get success only if it gives good battery life.

It comes with connectivity features which are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG.

This smartphone is initially available only at Amazon.in and I am hoping that it will soon get available on Flipkart too very soon.

Overall Conclusion about this Lava smartphone

Lava Iris X1 seems to be a good smartphone and the design is really amazing seeing the low price. One of the cons is that it has Broadcom processor, as I wanted to see a Snapdragon processor. Battery provided is a 1800 mAh battery, while it could have been a 2000 mAh battery. The pros of Lava Iris X1 are 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, external memory slot and the affordable price of Rs 7,999.

Offer Available with Lava Iris X1

At Amazon you get a very good offer with this Lava smartphone. With Lava Iris X1 you get a 16GB memory card free. Isn’t this amazing offer? I find this offer to be very good as the price of Lava Iris X1 is below Rs 8,000.

Buy Lava Iris X1 Now from Amazon

If you have budget of Rs 10,000 then you will find that there are 6-8 good smartphones available for you, but you may not find a 8 megapixel camera in most of them. I think that Lava Iris X1 with get good success due to its good features. Lava is definitely trying the best it can as there is lot of competition in low budget segment in India. Now as the options are increasing, it is getting harder for people too that which smartphone they should buy.

  1. Piyush Wadhwa I am happy that you gave your opinion about Moto E and Lava Iris X1…You may be right that Lava Iris X1 may not work as fast as Moto E but you cannot say that until you use it….I still don’t have completely info regarding how long the battery lasts when it comes to Iris X1, but I know that Moto E lasts for a complete day very easily… People looking for best camera features in low budget may definitely like to go for Lava Iris X1…..
