Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 A450 both works on Android 4.4 Jelly Bean operating system. Xiaomi Redmi 1S works on custom Android 4.3 operating system which is MIUI v5. I don’t know that whether Xiaomi Redmi 1S will get the Android 4.4 update.
When it comes to operating system, I may definitely prefer Zenfone 4 A450 or Moto E as both of them work on latest Android 4.4 version.
Display Screen Comparison
Moto E comes with 4.3 inch screen having resolution of 960 x 450 pixels and pixel density of 256ppi. Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG comes with 4.5 inch screen having resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and pixel density of 217ppi. Display screen of Moto E and Zenfone 4 A450 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
In comparion to Moto E and Zenfone 4 A450CG, Xiaomi Redmi 1S has got 4.7 inch display screen. Resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density is of 312ppi. Gorilla Glass 2 protection has been provided by Xiaomi with Redmi 1S. I may prefer Xiaomi Redmi 1S because it has got larger screen and better resolution.

Processor and RAM
Moto E has got 1.2GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, while Asus Zenfone 4 smartphone comes with 1.2GHZ Intel Atom Dual Core processor.
It is Xiaomi Redmi 1S which has got the most powerful processor among these 3 smartphones. Redmi 1S comes with 1.6GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
All the 3 smartphones Moto E, Zenfone 4 and Redmi 1S have got 1GB RAM.
Memory Provided
With Motorola Moto E you get internal memory of 4GB only, while with Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG and Xiaomi Redmi 1S you get internal memory of 8GB. Moto E is not liked by few people only because of the reason that it has got internal memory of 4GB only. External memory card slot is available with all the 3 smartphones.

Camera Features
Moto E has got rear facing camera of 5 megapixel, but no front facing camera. Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG has got rear facing camera of 8 megapixel, and front facing camera of 0.3 megapixel.
It is Xiaomi Red 1S which has got the best camera features. Similar to Zenfone 4 A450CG, it has also got rear facing camera of 8 megapixel. It is the front facing camera of 1.6 megapixel which makes Red 1S a very good low budget smartphone.
Battery Life
Moto E became the most amazing low budget smartphone because its 1980 mAh battery provides almost 1 day usage. Zenfone 4 A450CG comes with 1750 mAh battery, while Xiaomi Redmi 1S comes with 2000 mAh battery.

When it comes to colors, you may prefer Zenfone 4 A450 over Moto E, as it is available in more colors than Moto E. We still don’t know that Redmi 1S will get available in which colors.
