Nokia is back with an affordable 4G smartphone which is Nokia G20. It will be interesting to see the type of response this new 4G smartphone from Nokia will get. The competition is very tough for Nokia G20 as some good 5G smartphones around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 have already launched in India.
The dual-SIM Nokia G20 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display screen. One of the pros of the Nokia G20 is that it works on Android 11 OS and Nokia has already said the customers will receive updates for 2 years.
Nokia G20 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage space. You can get external storage up to 512GB using a microSD card.
G20 comes with a Quad rear camera setup which is a combination of 48MP+5MP+2MP+2MP. The front camera provided by Nokia is an 8-megapixel camera. The selfie camera makes use of a waterdrop notch. The front camera could have been a little better as the smartphone is priced at more than Rs 10,000.
Connectivity features provided by Nokia are NFC, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi, and 4G. The fingerprint scanner provided in Nokia G20 is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia G20 comes with an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and accelerometer.
The battery is a 5050 mAh battery with the support for 10W charging.
Nokia G20 comes in 2 colors which are Night and Glacier.
Three days battery life is the highlight of this Nokia smartphone. It will be interesting to see how long the battery actually lasts and whether it gets a good demand due to the powerful battery. Let us hope that the battery life of the Nokia G20 will impress the reviewers as well as the customers.
The pre-ordering for Nokia G20 starts on July 7th. The actual sale will start on Amazon from July 15th. Do let me know if you find the price for Nokia G20 to be perfect or you feel that the price could have been lower. I want to know your opinion about Nokia G20 in the comments section below. I also hope that Nokia will launch new 5G smartphones in the coming months.
